5 Tips to Help You Prep for the E-Scrap Conference

With the 2019 E-Scrap Conference just a few weeks away, the Greentec team is looking forward to another year of strengthening connections and making new ones! We’ll be exhibiting during the conference and anticipate many great conversations about our innovative and sustainable solutions to recovering rare earth metals from electronic scrap.

If you are attending this year, you’re probably looking forward to the return of summer temperatures in Orlando. But how can you be sure to get the most out of the E-Scrap conference?

Beyond a visit to Greentec’s booth to talk material recovery, here are some of the top tips to make this year’s conference one of the best yet.

    1. Prep Your Pitch

During E-Scrap’s three days, you’ll be speaking about yourself and your company often. Take the time to create a simple elevator pitch about your role or company to make introductions easy so you can move right into networking.

    2.  Plan Your Schedule

Now is the perfect time to make a list of which vendors to visit and sessions to attend. Consider what matters most to your company and put that at the top of your list!

Don’t forget about the trade show either — you may discover someone who offers the solution your company needs. Looking for innovative and sustainable solutions to recovering rare earth metals from electronic scrap? Visit Greentec at E-Scrap Booth 719 to find out exactly what we can help you with. Booth numbers will help you navigate the exhibition hall.

    3. Stay Up To Date on Social Media

In the days before the conference and during, stay in touch online! Using the E-Scrap Conference hashtag (#EScrap2019) lets you participate in conversations with other attendees, and you can use it to stay up-to-date. Tag us @GreentecCA to connect.

Check out the hashtag to see who else is tweeting. You can add to the conversation by sharing photos and your top takeaways from different sessions tagged #EScrap2019. This helps people find you too!

    4. Network, Network, Network

Networking is a big part of any conference, and E-Scrap is no different. With so many industry professionals represented, you’ll be using your elevator pitch a lot. It’s not restricted to designated receptions or breaks. You can also meet new industry pros as you move from session to session for more casual opportunities.

Arrive early to your sessions to allow yourself a chance to settle in and meet those around you. Keep your business cards handy to pass out your contact information, and hopefully collect it from companies you want to be in touch with in the future!

Make sure to chat with the Greentec Team to find out how we can be an essential downstream partner and help you grow your business. We take e-scrap and maximize the recovery value to you through our innovative processes.

    5. Take Home What You’ve Learned

The E-Scrap Conference is a busy three days, filled with learning at sessions, workshops and the trade show. Take notes of the key points during your sessions so you can look back on the trip home. This also makes it easier to share your findings with the rest of your organization.
